About Us

In honor of Christine Englehardt, we are establishing the annual “Chris’ 23 Envisions – Pay It Forward” charitable event to maintain Chris’ legacy through charitable contributions to organizations positively impacting those less fortunate. The number “23” was a very significant number throughout Chris’ life and we are so honored to continue her legacy by supporting 23 unique charitable recipients in the years to come!

Mission

Through the Christine Englehardt Memorial (CEM) 23 Envisions, we hope to celebrate and honor Christine’s life that was lost too soon.  Last year, we held our first event and established the Christine Englehardt Memorial 5k which was a big success at Council Rock High School North.  During Christine’s life she had many accomplishments in running and races including: 2019 Philadelphia Love Run ½ Marathon, many local 5k races, and her favorite, her love of Disneyworld’s many races that she participated in since 2006!

This year and every year, we are hopeful with everyone’s love and support,  we may fulfill Christine’s “23 Envisions” !  Christine was always adamant about helping others and we plan to continue this in her honor. Whether Chris was helping someone that ran out of gas, didn’t have enough money to pay the balance of their bill at the supermarket, or working with animals and shelters – Chris was their to help!

Christine’s Story

On the night of March 18th 2021, Christine Anne Englehardt of Bucks County, PA was murdered while vacationing in Miami, Florida. She was drugged, raped, robbed, and left alone to die by two perpetrators who were found partying shortly after. This left her dear parents and loved ones heartbroken and in a continuous fight for justice. With so much ahead of her, this horrific tragedy stole the young 24-year-old of her life far too soon. Both men remain in custody and expect to face murder charges, but anticipation for the trial remains ongoing. Until a verdict is made, Christine’s family is unable to properly grieve or receive any form of closure, as they continue to relive this nightmare day in and day out.

Christine was loved by her family, friends and community. She was the beloved daughter and only child of Thomas and Doreen Englehardt. She would light up a room with her infectious laugh and bubbly personality. Christine worked locally in Newtown, PA as an assistant manager of Jules Thin Crust, and graduated from Council Rock High School North in 2014. She was fluent in Spanish and had aspirations of becoming a Spanish translator one day. Christine was known for her love to explore and led an active lifestyle. As an avid runner, Christine added the 2019 Philadelphia Love Run Half Marathon to her many running achievements. As a Bucks County local she could be often found training along the nature trails at Tyler State Park. The very trails in which she ran, is where we plan to run in her footsteps to make strides for this powerful cause. All who had the privilege of knowing Christine agree that she impacted so many in her short life, and will continue to do so for years to come, even though her earthly body is no longer with us.
